24-HOUR HOLTER BLOOD PRESSURE

DESCRIPTION 24-hour recording of arterial blood pressure (popularly known as Holterblood pressure) is a technique that measures blood pressure over a 24-hour period at intervals that are pre-programmed in the device.

A bracelet (cuff) is placed on the patient’s upper arm, which is linked to a device positioned on a belt fastened around the patient’s chest. This technique provides objective information on blood pressure fluctuations, and helps in deciding on the introduction, scheduled administering and dosage of drugs.

Holter blood pressure is particularly useful for patients who only seldom measure high blood pressure, and for those who despite changing therapyfind it difficult to achieve proper values.

Holterblood pressure results are available the same day!
